In spite of the Wii U not winning over as many gamers as Nintendo might have hoped, a few gaming gems have been unearthed as a result of the company's other console. One such game is Hyrule Warriors, which proved immensely popular, and garnered a lot of support for a 3DS crossover title.

Thankfully for 3DS users, Nintendo has listened, confirming the arrival of a handheld console version of Hyrule Warriors with the teaser trailer below. As far as the game's release goes, very little is known, but Nintendo is expected to divulge greater details of the game at E3 next week.

For those unfamiliar with the title, Hyrule Warriors is essentially set in the world of Zelda, with a few of Nintendo's other franchise characters making an appearance in a Final Fantasy-esque gameplay style, featuring tons of enemies to take down and large combo moves to string together.

Click on the teaser below, should the 3DS be your handheld console of choice.
