If for whatever reason you haven't played the massively popular MMOFPS title Overwatch, this upcoming weekend will give you the opportunity to do so for free. As developer Blizzard has done in the past, Overwatch will be free-to-play across all its platforms from 17 November at 21:100 (SAST) until 21 November at 10:00 (SAST).

The game will be available to PS4 and Xbox One gamers by downloading a trial version of the title on their respective console, with PC owners accessing the free-to-play weekend via the Blizzard Battle.net application.

It's unclear why Blizzard has opted to bring a free weekend to the fore right now, but the game has received a new character in the form of Moira, as well as a Hybrid Map. We're unsure if either new aspect will be present in the free weekend version of the game, but any chance to play Overwatch for nothing is always welcome.
