If you are a Puma fan and have been waiting for a running shoe with a nice and chunky stack height, well today is your lucky day. Puma has announced MagMax NITRO - a new every day running shoe that they believe takes the term ‘max cushion’ to new heights.

Between you and the road you’ll find a copious 46 mm of Puma’s cutting-edge NITROFOAM technology. In comparison, the new Deviate Nitro 3 is 39 mm at its thickest. The sportsgear manufacturer notes the MagMax NITRO is perfect entry point for all types of runners, which will make your training and recovery miles feel effortless and bouncy. The shoe weighs 290g (UK8), with an 8 mm drop from the heel to the forefoot.

As far as the upper is concerned, it’s made up from engineered mesh re-enforced with Puma PWRTAPE for decent breathability, whilst a rolled collar reinforced with foam should ensure extra comfort and a true fit. The MagMax NITRO also features the excellent PUMAGrip durable rubber sole, providing assured multi-surface traction.

Puma’s MagMax NITRO will be available in a Lapis Lazuli colourway, inspired by the bright blue precious stone it is named after. The men’s shoe features an intense purple-blue upper, with the mesh complemented by a streak of soft green on the NITROFOAM midsole that ombres from heel through to the forefoot.

The women’s shoe features a light blue mesh upper complemented by a lime green Puma formstrip, with a flash of intense, dark blue that adds vibrancy to the NITROFOAM midsole.
