PS4 Pro update: Where you can pre-order it… at the moment
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 11 November 2016 | Categories: newsWhen we interviewed Ster Kinekor Entertainment's (PlayStation's local distributor) Mario Dos Santos about the company's upcoming console refreshes, and the PS4 Pro in particular, he told us that late November was the likely release date. For now, however, both Ster Kinekor and PlayStation SA have remained mum on when the 4K-supporting device will officially land.
That has not stopped local online retailers from listing the PS4 Pro (1 TB) for pre-order, as MyGaming discovered. At the moment, there are five destinations for interested gamers to check out, with pricing in and around the R7 000 mark.
While the pricing for online retailers remains relatively similar, the shipping dates vary greatly, with some able to deliver by the end of November, and others just before the year comes to an end.
With more retailers, both online and physical, likely joining these initial five, here's where you can pre-order the PS4 Pro, along with pricing and suggested shipping dates according to the website details:
Takealot.com - R6 999 (Shipped on 30 November provided you pre-order before the 28th)
Raru - R6 999 (Release Date TBC)
Loot.co.za - R6 999 (Shipped by 23 December)
Dion Wired - R6 990 (Launches 1 December)
Animeworx (AWX) - R6 999 (Release date TBC)
