Recent iPhone 8 image leak confirms 'all-screen' display
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 8 August 2017 | Categories: newsThe metronomic rate of leaked iPhone 8 images lately may be tough to keep up with, but this latest one is perhaps one of the best looks yet we've received for Apple's forthcoming flagship. As with past major leaks, it is Evan Blass who is responsible for this one, taking to Twitter to showcase a side angle rendered picture of the supposed iPhone 8, covered in a ruggedised after-market case.
The maker of the case is Urban Armour Gear, which also currently makes hard wearing accessories for the iPhone 7. It's unclear if they are responsible for the leak, but it nevertheless gives us a good look at the new iPhone's display.
More specifically, we get the chance to see the 'all-screen' display as it is being called by some. While we can't see the iPhone 8's actual frame, the screen appears to go edge-to-edge, both horizontally and vertically. At the top, we also get to see the front facing camera and speaker setup, with the screen wrapping around it. Precisely how many lenses will be placed at the top though, is unconfirmed for now.

With Apple still to mention a date for the new iPhone's reveal, or indeed whether a press conference is scheduled for early-September, all we have to go on are leaked images.
