Rocksteady unveils more of dual play feature
By Ryan Noik 18 May 2015 | Categories: newsWhile dual play in the forthcoming Batman: Arkham Knight has been teased and shown briefly before, Rocksteady’s latest Arkham Insider video shows quite a bit more of the feature and discusses how it will work in the game. Moreover as the latest gameplay video illustrates, it also shows how two heroes – Batman and Nightwing – manage to handle a warehouse full of Penguin’s thugs.
Perhaps the most notable part of the dual play feature is that switching between Batman and his companion won’t interrupt hit streaks, enabling a smooth back and forth transition between the two.
Additionally, it shows how Batman has a few more options when engaging in fisticuffs, able to pick up weapons or use nearby objects to throw at foes. We’re not too sure who gets the rawer deal here – bad guys or the ever-present pots, which seem to never stay intact for long in any case, irrespective of the genre. If you do are anxiously awaiting Batman: Arkham Knight’s release next month, then take a look at the video below for more.
