Sony offers up an even closer look at PlayStation VR during Paris Games Week 2015
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 28 October 2015 | Categories: newsIf you don't live in the City of Light, you might be unaware that Paris Games Week is currently underway. While it may not be as a big a draw as other major gaming conferences, some of the big guns are in attendance, most notably PlayStation. The Japanese company took the chance to showcase a new video for PlayStation VR, ever since dropping the Project Morpheus name at the TGS 2015 a few weeks ago.
While the video itself starts off a bit gimmicky, with lots of good looking people and CGI, thankfully it quickly dives into the action, showing off a few demo titles utilising the virtual reality platform.
It seems like one of the bigger titles will be EVE: Valkyrie, which we saw demoed at E3 earlier in the year. Joining it are games like The London Heist and Robinson: The Journey, both of which show early promise.
Sadly, there is still no release window for PlayStation VR, as Sony is no doubt giving developers and publishers a good crack at it first. But, there is a bit of a rush, since the Oculus Rift is set to release in Q1 2016. Have a look at the gameplay trailer for Robinson: The Journey below, which looks like the best VR offering to date.
