When it comes to narrative games, none can do it better than Telltale. They've released a number of compelling titles including The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and Batman, but one of their biggest offerings to date has been 2013/2014's The Wolf Among Us.

The developer was set to release a sequel to The Wolf Among Us later this year, but now Telltale has confirmed that it has been pushed back until 2019. Part of the reason for the delay is the fact that Telltale had to let go of 90 employees, accounting for nearly 25% of its studio.

"The delay comes as the result of a few fundamental changes here at Telltale since we first announced the game last summer. Taking this extra time will allow us not only to focus on quality but also to experiment and iterate in order to craft something truly special," noted a company post on the status of the game's release.

There's no precise date in 2019 for The Wolf Among Us Season Two, but given Telltale's track record, we're sure the upcoming title will live up to expectations.
