Want to get some exercise, contribute to a good cause and get a cool Batman shirt in the process? The next Justice League Run/Walk series is scheduled for 11 October 2020, and this time it’s the Dark Knight who will take the lead – yes, indeed, it’s the Batman.

If you don’t know how the Justice League Run works, it’s actually very easy. You buy a ticket for the race, for which a Batman t-shirt, medal, pin as well as a great tasting Energy Bar will be delivered to your door. Don’t start using these yet, since you’ll have to wait for race day. Come 11 October at 8am, don your shirt and start running or walking either 2.5km, 5km, 7.5km or a full 10km.

Part of the ticket price will go towards Headstart Kids, a non-profit whose core objectives are to eradicate malnourishment, activate key and critical age appropriate learning and ensure optimal child development.

There are also celebrity Super Heroes that form part of the Batman Run, and for this run it includes Letshego Zulu, Kagiso Sebediela, Paul Rothmann and LeAnne Dlamini and patron Ilzé Saunders Buys.

Tickets can be purchased here, and start at R160, with family packages available at discount.

If you cannot make the Batman run, there are two more left, seeing that 8 November it’s the Flash leading this fast race, and the return of Superman for 13 December 2020.

The Justice League Run/Walk series is the official and only series of Warner Bros and DC comics in South Africa. The events are produced by Sportsvendo, the same company who brought the successful The Color Run to South Africa.
