This year's Gamescom has been conspicuously low key as far as announcements go. Microsoft even opted to forego its usual press conference event to kick off the four day-long gaming expo. Nevertheless, there was no shortage of trailers or gaming news to come out of Cologne, Germany. To that end, we've assembled some of the best trailers we've seen this past week, as well as one which is getting a lot of hate (Metal Gear Survive in case you were unaware).

Noteworthiness: For those who want to snowboard The Alps, but can't afford to. 

Title: Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (Launch Trailer)

Noteworthiness: A possible glimpse into the future of enhanced human beings. 

Title: South Park: The Fractured but Whole

Release Date: 6 December 2016
Noteworthiness: Crude gaming humour that only the boys of South Park can deliver. 

Title: Resident Evil 7 biohazard
Platform: PS4 (PS VR support), Xbox One and Windows PC
Release Date: 24 January 2017
Noteworthiness: A reason to be afraid of the dark once again. 

Title: Titanfall 2 (Multiplayer Tech Test Gameplay Trailer)

Noteworthiness: Hopefully delivering on the failed promise from the first title.
