South African consumers are yet to see Windows 10 Mobile in all its glory, with the Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL still on their way to retailers. As such, one of the new OS' best features, the Word Flow keyboard, has not been fully experienced just yet. For the most part, Word Flow has proved a major feather in the cap of Microsoft, and now the company is priming it for porting over to iOS and Android.

The move fits in with Microsoft cross pollination of apps on other operating systems, like Office 365, in recent months and is seen as an attempt by the company to interest more people in what Windows 10 Mobile has to offer. iOS will be the first operating system to receive the port, as was the case with the aforementioned Office 365, but no specific date has been mentioned at this time. The finer details are also hard to pin down, and more specifically whether there will be any changes to the Word Flow keyboard's UI. Especially as Windows 10 Mobile and iOS (9.0) have different interfaces for gestures.

Currently, those in the Windows Insider Program are privy to the details of how Word Flow will work on an iOS device, but Windows Central believe little or no change in how the keyboard works will arise. Following its iOS port, Microsoft will also be prepping a version for Android devices as well.
