When Apple released the iPhone X to the public last year, there were a couple of issues, with its performance in cold weather being a particular sticking point. Given our current summer, that shouldn't prove an issue for local users, but recent reports suggest the iPhone X is not out the woods just yet.

A number of users have taking to the Apple forum to voice their concerns, as the device fails to power on for several seconds when a call comes in. As such, the phone may ring, but users cannot see who is calling them or indeed slide their finger across the screen to answer, as the display takes some time to turn on.

It's an issue that dates back to December, according to Engadget, with Apple telling the website that it is looking into the reports. Whether or not these are isolated cases or larger issue remains to be seen. If you've experienced similar problems on the iPhone X, let us know in the comments section below.
