Official distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has announced the immediate availability of the anticipated Dell Latitude 13 7000 Series Ultrabook (7370) to the South African channel. The Latitude 13, the smallest 13-inch business-class Ultrabook, features a complete refresh with thin and light carbon fibre design, InfinityEdge display, improved efficiency and powerful processing.

Built using layers of unidirectional 40-ton carbon fibre - the same materials used in applications like spacecraft and aerospace - the Latitude 13 can endure the rigor of heavy business use without compromising on form and overall aesthetic.

Comments George Lodewick, Dell Desktop and Notebook Specialist at DCC: “With the new Latitude Ultrabooks, Dell has taken design cues from its acclaimed XPS line – commercial users therefore now enjoy the same durable, lightweight design combined with exciting new features such as the InfinityEdge display and fast Thunderbolt data transfer.”

The Dell Latitude 13 incorporates industry-standard USB Type-C allowing for one cable docking, power, video, audio and data.  Furthermore, with Dell’s Thunderbolt 3 that offers eight times faster data transfer (40 Gbps) than a USB 3.0, users can power two 4K displays simultaneously for improved productivity and viewing experience.

Additional Dell Latitude 13 features include:

·        The latest 6th Gen Intel Core M processors with Intel VPro and Pro WiDi 6.0;

·        Advanced security features such as a smartcard reader, fingerprint reader, RFID reader, and security and encryption software;

·        Optional 4-antenna technology that fully enables WWAN (wireless wide area network) for dependable and flexible communications; and

·        Extended battery life.

The Dell Latitude 13 7000 Series Ultrabook is available immediately from DCC and ships with a three-year, next business day onsite warrantee.
