As part of its quest to provide outstanding customer service, Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa, one of the leading document solutions companies, has appointed PartServe as its repair service partner and official parts distributor for printers and multifunction products (MFPs).

This agreement provides an excellent value proposition for customers, offering workshop repair service for all customers who have purchased products from Kyocera distributors countrywide. Printers and small desktop MFPs are sold with a standard carry-in warranty by Kyocera distributors.

Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa’s customer services support manager, Paul Wendlandt, says that Kyocera will now be able to provide repair services to all customers countrywide. "In our service delivery plan with PartServe, we have targeted our range of printers and entry-level MFPs aimed mainly at consumer and SOHO markets."

As the fastest growing and most diverse IT outsource warranty management company, PartServe stocks and sells spare parts for all products it officially supports and most other branded IT products available to the local market.

PartServe will offer services to complement those provided by the existing authorised service channel. The services include warranty repair at the regional service centres and spare part supply to targeted printer repair agents.

"We are pleased to engage with a reputable service provider like PartServe that is highly experienced in offering such services and are unwavering in its commitment to customer satisfaction," Wendlandt explains.

PartServe director Lee Bowes says “PartServe is fast expanding its existing offering and it is perfectly positioned to take on all major brands like Kyocera for support and warranty repairs. We share many business values with the Kyocera business philosophy, which we believe will be the foundation of our partnership.”

Kyocera and PartServe will continue to investigate other mutually beneficial activities that support their strategy to grow their market share. Additionally, Kyocera will seek specialised partners who have the knowledge and infrastructure required to deliver new products and services; or deliver old products and services in a new way.

PartServe has a large footprint with carry-in centres in all major cities across South Africa including Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Bloemfontein and Port Elizabeth.
