24 overhaul blogs
By Thomas McKinnon 23 July 2009 | Categories: newsThe free “make-your-own-blog service”, 24.com blogs, has been overhauled and renamed LetterDash. With a new look and added functionality it promises a better experience offering bloggers a more personalised platform.
“The revamped platform is very much the result of listening to 24.com bloggers and the kinds of improvements they wanted to see,” said Alistair Fairweather, Social Media Manager at 20FourLabs. “Based on dozens of meetings of bloggers, and regular suggestions from our different online communities, we have been able to develop Letterdash so that it’s easier for new bloggers to get started and for existing bloggers to create unique places to express themselves.”
Enhanced features includes custom URLs, customisable headers and backgrounds, 15 preset design templates, an open widget area for third party developers, DIY adserving and the ability to update your blog via mobile.
