The BMW Group has launched Project I, an online think tank for the sustainable mobility of the future.  www.project-i.com is an online platform outlining the various approaches and solutions BMW is considering to align sustainability and future customer requirements.

This site allows users to access the basic vision of e-mobility (electro mobility with zero emissions), specific test vehicles such as the MINI E and the BMW ActiveE, as well as  BMW’s LifeDrive concept, a new body concept specific to electronic vehicles.

Emphasis is also given to the development of solutions and services for the customer needs of tomorrow, exploring such concepts such as BMW's Megacity Vehicle (pictured).

In addition, the website offers an overview of the public discussion and general developments in the field of sustainable mobility. The page incorporates relevant voices from the web, video clips and blog posts from around the world.

The BMW group also has Twitter channel and Facebook page for the latest news and discussion regarding the project.

Project i, launched in late 2007, is an initiative of the BMW Group to develop sustainable and pioneering mobility concepts.
