Electronic Arts’ Play Label has announced a new forthcoming title, Create, which will take on platformer titles such as Sony’s Little Big Planet.

According to EA the game will provide players with creative gameplay challenges which they will be required to solve.

Gamers will be able to utilise brushes and tools, including textures, props and animating objects to create scenes and design their own environments within the game. Players will also be able to share any of their creations, solutions and challenges with the community via their consoles as well as the official Create website

They will also be able to download and remix solutions and set challenges for other players to download and complete. The more players explore the game, solve level-based challenges and customise their world, the more rewards will be unlocked.

“Create uses families’ imaginations to develop new ways to play together that are both fun and challenging,” said Harvey Elliott, VP and general manager at EA Bright Light. “We wanted to design a game where the entire family can explore, decorate, and solve challenges where no solution is wrong and the only limit is the imagination.”

Create will be available in November for the Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3 for which it will also sport PlayStation Move compatibility, the Xbox 360, PC and Mac computers.
