South African IT and digital lifestyle product distributor Esquire Technologies has announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Razer USA, the world’s fastest growing manufacturer of high-end precision gaming lifestyle peripherals.

Razer USA is based in California and partners with teams and gamers to co-develop their own line of products, which continue to be a popular accessory range amongst gamers in major global tournaments as well as e-sport gaming teams.

Esquire Technologies group managing director, Asgar Mahomed expressed his delight at the addition of Razer to the company’s portfolio: “Razer adds a new dimension to our specialised Gaming Division headed up by product manager, Rickus Roodt, who works closely with resellers that represent the best of gamers in the industry”.

Mahomed stated that the company looks forward to a successful and on-going partnership with Razer USA and that together with the backing of Razer, Esquire Technologies will be able to look after the gaming communities’ product needs in southern Africa. Gamers can now rest assured that they'll be able to locally obtain some very cable Razer gaming accessories, the likes of the Razer Tron gaming keyboard, Razer Naga Molten Special Edition expert MMO gaming mouse and the Razer Ferox pocket-sized speaker system.

“This agreement will allow Esquire to improve the availability of Razer’s comprehensive product range in the channel and assist in reaching new customers and emerging markets from heir branches countrywide in Midrand, Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Nelspruit, Mahomed added." "It will also give access to customers in neighbouring African countries such as Swaziland, Maputo, Botswana, Namibia, Malawi and Uganda, and allow Esquire to explore new opportunities.”
