Petrol heads who own a PlayStation 3 should diarise 17 December, as a free download of Gran Turismo (GT) 5 Time Trial Challenge will be released on the PlayStation Store. The release represents the first opportunity for gamers to experience the latest version of the “Real Driving Simulator” first hand.  

GT 5 will see the addition of NASCAR and WRC events for the first time in the series and will feature over 950 dream cars, including supercars from Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bugatti.  

You’ll be able to race these in more than 20 exotic locations sporting over 70 track variations, all in gloriously realistic 1080p high-definition. You’ll also be able to transfer your car collection from your PSP version of GT to GT 5 on the PS3, so you can experience some of the best cars right from the get go.
