Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) announced that one of the year’s most anticipated PS3 titles, Heavy Rain, is being released on 24 February in PAL markets, including South Africa.
 
With its dark atmosphere and gripping storyline, Heavy Rain is set in a small town on the east coast of the USA. Trying to track a killer on a rampage, you play as four different characters, each unlocking another part of the story. Heavy Rain is packed with choices which hinge on how far you’ll go to stop a murderer. 
 
The game’s longevity is said to be boosted by the flexibility of the storyline. The courses of action you decide to take during certain key moments in the game affect its plot and since there’s no set order of scenes to go through, you can play it numerous times from start to finish without getting board too easily with a linear game progression.
 
Heavy Rain has a recommended retail price of R699.
