Kingston launches Data Traveler R500

The new rubber casing also allows for easy grip and protects the drive from general wear and tear.
The flash drive comes in 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB capacities and, with a 30 MB/s read time and 20 MB/s write time, the new Data Traveler R500 is speedy as well. This makes it ideal for people who store large quantities of information but are constantly on the move.
“This is the ultimate USB Flash drive for those who desire fast transfer rates and a sturdy design,” Grant Rau, business development manager for Kingston South Africa, said about the product’s capabilities.
Kingston Technology, the world’s largest independent manufacturer of memory products, promises that the new R500 comes with the reliability the company is known for. The product is backed with a five year warranty.
