Not to be outdone by the likes of Samsung and Sony Ericsson, LG has showcased its latest mobile creation at the Mobile World Congress 2010. Dubbed the LG Mini, it's the world’s first phone to support a 3-Way Sync service.
 
The Mini is really, well, tiny, measuring a measly 10.6 mm thick and weighing a paltry 99 g. The 3-Way Sync service feature, LG Air Sync, allows users to continually sync info that is stored on their phones with data, as well as the browser history ,on their PCs, across a wireless network. Using Air Sync, info and data such as photos, video clips, calendar entries and phone book entries will stay current and updated. Browser history on the phone’s mobile browser is updated with the 100 most recent websites that users visited on their PC or notebook, enabling them to return to the exact website where they left off on their computer.

Because the phone’s Personal Information Manager (PIM) is also synced to computer, you’ll have continued access to that info, even if you lose the phone or it gets stolen. Further specs includes a 3.2" touch-screen, five megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, aGPS, FM radio and 7.2 Mbps HSDPA.

Because of this, one of the major battles in future mobile market is likely to be in the data management technology industry,  focusing on seamless access among different devices,” said Dr. Skott Ahn, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “We have developed the LG Mini, which offers technological integration with its unique LG Air Sync service, in response to this trend.”

The LG Mini will be available in Europe as of March, with other markets following later.
