Logitech has unveiled its latest headset, the Logitech Wireless Headset H760, which allows users to chat and make VoIP (voice over Internet Protocol) calls from up to 12 meters away from their PC and offers up to six hours of battery life.

According to the peripheral maker the H760’s behind-the-head design enables it to be adjusted for a personalised fit that makes it easy to wear when moving around the room.

The H760 headset also offers a built-in equalizer, which optimises sound for voice, music as well as movies. Its audio controls enable users to adjust the volume, pause music and navigate through their playlists via their headset. A noise-cancelling microphone will decrease any background noise and also automatically mutes when you rotate it out of the way.

“Our newest headset gives you the freedom to roam when you’re connecting with your co-workers and loved ones, or when you just want to be entertained,” said Leslie Smyth, sales & marketing manager, Southern Africa and developing countries. “Our plug-and-play wireless headset is easy to set up, easy to wear, and easy to use.”

Logitech’s Wireless Headset H760 is expected to become available locally only by December 2010 for a recommended retail price of R1135.
