New Chrome beta version released
By Hanleigh Daniels 5 May 2010 | Categories: newsAfter Google’s Chrome web browser fractionally increased its share of the browser market from 6.13% to 6.73% during April, the open-source Chrome continues to improve with the release of a new beta version.
Chrome 5 beta boasts a few improvements to enhance your browsing experience, including a speed boost, integrated Flash Player plug-in and the synchronisation of your Chrome preferences (such as themes, homepage as well as language) across multiple computers using your Google Account. There is also some new HTML5 functionality, which include geolocation support and file drag-and-drop. This allows you, for example, to simply drag-and-drop files from your desktop to your gmail without having to attach them.
You can download the new beta version for computers running on Windows, Mac OS and Linux.
