New THQ titles incoming

THQ announced yesterday that a special Hellbook Edition of Darksiders will be coming to the PC on 24 September. The Hellbook Edition will include a comic book and art cards that were created by comic book artist Joe Madureira as well as a CD soundtrack.

Within Darksiders players assume the role of War, one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse. He’s a bit miffed after being misled into bringing a premature end to the world and has consequently decided to go back to Earth on a quest to regain his honour and duly punish those responsible.

According to IGN, THQ has also confirmed that a sequel to Metro 2033 is being developed by 4A Games. This Metro 2034 (working title) is currently in a very early pre-production phase and may contain its own storyline as opposed to picking up exactly where Metro 2033 concluded.

Metro 2033 was very well received after its launch in March this year, obtaining a Metascore of 77 out of 100 on Metacritic.
