Microsoft unveiled a new control system at E3 in the US yesterday, Project Natal.

Project Natal is a completely hands-free system that uses face recognition and motion sensors that allow gamers to interact with their Xbox 360 console.

Film director Steven Spielberg, who attended the launch, said the demonstration of the control system was \"a pivotal moment that will carry with it a wave of change, the ripples of which will reach far beyond video games.”

Although no release dates for the system have been announced, Microsoft has sent prototypes to all big game developers.
