Popular social networking site Twitter announced the availability of the official Twitter app for BlackBerry devices. The Twitter for BlackBerry app can be downloaded from the BlackBerry website or from BlackBerry App World (963 KB).
 
According to the BlackBerry site, you’ll be able to receive your ‘Direct Messages’ that is sent to you on Twitter and also to reply to these messages, tweets, as well as to re-tweet. You can also post a link from your BlackBerry Browser and capture a pic with your BlackBerry’s camera and upload it to the micro-blogging site. 
 
“Working closely with RIM to deliver the official Twitter app has been a great experience and we are looking forward to bringing more and more Twitter innovation to BlackBerry,” Twitter stated.
