According to androidandme, the graphics processing unit (GPU) maker Nvidia has announced via its Tegra Zone app, that Sony’s PlayStation Suite is on its way to Tegra-running Android smartphones as well as tablet PCs.
 
Sony unveiled the PlayStation Suite along with its PSP successor, the next generation portable (NGP) in January. This new suite allows developers to bring the PlayStation (PS) experience to Android devices.
 
Although Nvidia didn’t specify any particular Tegra-powered devices that are due to become PS certified, the company did mention a few gaming titles that will become available later this year. Some of these include PS classics such as Cool Boarders 2 and Syphon Filter.
 
This announcement means that the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play (also known as the PlayStation Phone) will not be the only smartphone to offer PlayStation gaming titles.
 
Sony is apparently also looking to eventually bring PlayStation 2 games to Android devices and not just PS One titles.
