According to sources over at AppleInsider, Apple is preparing to unveil its new line of MacBook Pro computers to coincide with the birthday of Steve Jobs.

Jobs, currently on sick leave, will turn 56 on the 24th of February, and all signs are pointing towards a MacBook Pro studded birthday bash.

Apple traditionally launches new products on Tuesdays, but MacRumors suggests that the company will be making an exception this year around.

The company has reportedly began shipping sealed packages to licensed stores, with strict warnings not to inspect their contents.

Not much is known about the upcoming line of MacBook Pros on the technical side, what we do know is that the computers will use new Intel Sandy Bridge technology, will boot from SSD drives and will be available in models ranging from 13” to 17”.

All clues point towards us finding out a lot more about the new MacBook Pro line in the coming week, as well as seeing what Apple may have planned for its CEO's birthday.
