Apple Corps Ltd (not the one headed by Steve Jobs) and EMI Music have unveiled a limited number of Beatles Stereo USB apples destined for worldwide release on 7 December.

The elegant apple-shaped USB drive is pre-loaded with 14 re-mastered stereo titles as well as an excess of visual essentials that go with it, including 13 mini-documentary films about the studio albums, replicated original album art, rare pics and extended liner notes.

Only 30 000 of the 16 GB USB devices will be made available via pre-order from the official Beatles store for £200 (approx. R2500). The albums are in the FLAC 44.1 Khz 24 bit and MP3 320 Kbps formats, and are fully compatible with either PC or Mac.
