Toshiba launches online store
By Staff Writer 5 May 2011 | Categories: newsToshiba Computer Systems Division has launched its new website dubbed ‘Toshiba Store’, which provides a wide variety of product choices and customer computing services.
This new Toshiba Store enables Toshiba notebook users to purchase important services with just a few clicks of a mouse. It is available now in South Africa, the UAE, Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, with limited services also in Russia. Additional countries and services are currently also being planned.
By employing the Toshiba Store consumers can find out further details and also purchase services, including Warranty Extensions for any unforeseen repair costs after the expiration of the original product warranty, as well as Data Recovery for safeguarding their important files.
The All-Risks Protection service provides added assurance on notebook repair or replacement, whilst the combined All-Risks Protection and Data Recovery package offers premium security against accidental notebook damage.
“Toshiba continues to strive for first-rate customer service for their loyal clientele,” stated Markus Kopold, CISMAT Service manager, Toshiba. “Toshiba Store addresses the demands of hassle-free laptop maintenance and protection by making the services readily available at our fingertips. Toshiba Store provides peace of mind to all Toshiba laptop users by ensuring convenient and cost-effective ownerships of their laptops.”
The Toshiba Store is made possible through a partnership with Arvato Digital Services, a Toshiba-authorised independent reseller offering Toshiba Services within selected countries.
In the face of recent concern over online safety with prominent cyber attacks, the likes of those on Sony and its PlayStation Network (PSN), Toshiba and Arvato guarantee that all the information gathered online are safe and secure.
