The third annual Cloud and Virtualisation Summit Africa will be taking place from 10 to 11 October 2012 in Sandton. Hosted by international business-to-business conferencing company, Kinetic Events, this event is aimed at business and technology leaders who need to understand how cloud computing and virtualisation is fundamentally transforming the way in which we think about, acquire and use computing resources.

Online solutions provider Tradepage will be acting as innovative solutions provider during the summit. The company, which forms part of the Cloud Group, has been helping businesses evolve online for more than 15 years. With the many enterprise-wide benefits of cloud computing, the company has become the technology partner of choice as a Google Apps for Business authorised reseller, when it comes to cloud migration and deployment. Lowered costs, enhanced flexibility and the ability to create new revenue streams are just some of the benefits that its clients are experiencing as a result of the move to the cloud.

The company kicked off its operations in 1995 with the objective of enabling firms to benefit from online services and make the most of their online presence. They’ve now grown to a 40-strong team of Google Apps for Business specialists, designers, developers, SEO specialists and technical experts operating out of Johannesburg as well as Durban.

On the summit’s agenda

Senior decision makers and industry executives will discover the most appropriate and effective level of cloud computing engagement for them during the summit and will also get to learn how innovative cloud technologies can be deployed alongside existing static deployments of hardware and software.
