As the Computex 2011 expo in Taipei continues gaining steam we're sure to be in for a number of juicy hardware releases in the coming week. One of these is Viewsonic, unveiling a wide range of new products, including a 24” full 3D monitor.

The V3D245wm-LED is a 24” Full HD LED monitor which features a built-in 3D emitter and sports an insane maximum contrast ratio of 20 000 000:1.

This allows the display to deliver colour accuracy and a level of detail rarely seen before. The monitor also sports a blazing 2 ms (millisecond) response time, supports 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio and is, of course, full HD 1080p compliant.

The 120 Hz display also sports the latest HDMI 1.4 input, allowing for a wide variety of connections as well as future proofing the monitor for tomorrow's 3D content. The display fully supports current 3D devices and also features built-in SRS Premium Sound.

Unfortunately no pricing or release dates have been announced as of yet, but this monitor has definitely helped wet our appetite for tomorrow's built-in 3D displays. No details yet on whether the bundled glasses uses active or passive 3D technology, but our bet's on active.
