Local mobile operator Vodacom has revealed the details behind its new summer promotion. This offer will provide double value to subscribers, who purchase a variety of products and services such as talk time, data-, SMS-, and MMS bundle deals.

Contract customers who purchase SMS, MMS, Data or My Minute month-to-month bundles will receive double the value of their purchase during this period. All existing and new contract customers will automatically receive the promotional benefit by default, with no activation process being required.

The ‘Double your Summer’ promotion is available to Top Up, Contract and Prepaid customers, and runs from 1 November to 14 December 2012.

Prepaid and Top Up clients who recharge with R29 or more will receive an equivalent number of voice minutes for free. These free minutes will only be valid on the Vodacom network and will expire at midnight following the day of recharge. Prepaid and Top Up customers can opt into the Double your Summer promotion for free by dialling *111# and following the prompts.

In addition, Vodacom has also doubled the grand weekly prize on Vodacom Millionaires from R1 million to R2 million. Every month, two lucky customers will stand a chance of winning a Toyota Yaris and R50 000 in cash.
