WWE '12 wrestler roster revealed
By Hanleigh Daniels 15 August 2011 | Categories: newsWWE- and wresting game fans rejoice as developers THQ has revealed the virtual roster of superstars that will feature in the forthcoming WWE ‘12 game (promo video posted below).
Although the Smackdown vs. Raw designation has been dropped, with the company opting for a more simpler WWE ‘12 title, a large number of WWE superstars is still available within the franchise. A grand total of 77 wrestling stars will be available for this game with THQ having released the names of 63 of these. Amongst the list of revealed names is John Cena, The Rock and Undertaker, who all also featured in this year’s WWE All Stars.
According to THQ WWE ‘12 will sport “the most fluid WWE action and realistic animations to date in a WWE videogame,” as well as improved A.I. [artifical intelligence] and the all-new Breaking Point submission system.
There’s also a new creation suite that enables gamers to create their own superstars, entrances, finishing moves, and storylines, like they did in other iterations within the franchise. Now, this suite also allows them to upload their creations and share them with friends or other players online, as well as to download the creations of other players.
WWE '12 will be released on 22 November in the US and 25 November in the UK on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii.
