The tech rumour mill keeps churning with the latest rumour to hit the web suggesting that Blackberry holding company Research in Motion (RIM) is looking to create its own mobile add platform and might purchase another company to do so. 
 
According to Business Insider, the BlackBerry maker is considering buying its way into mobile advertising if it cannot create its own platform. Having its own mobile advertising infrastructure would mean that RIM would be able to obtain a percentage of all the ads that go through its system.
 
One of the suggested companies RIM reportedly has in mind is web browser maker Opera, who recently acquired AdMarvel.
