Xbox Guinness World Record attempt needs your help
By Staff Writer 11 April 2011 | Categories: newsLooking to partake in a Guinness World Record without actually physically straining yourself? Xbox LIVE is looking to make history and wants all SA account holders (who also own a Kinect, which is actually a Guinness World Record Holder itself) to help. On Saturday 23 April it will be looking to break the record for the ‘largest online 100m sprint’ via Kinect Sports and Xbox LIVE.
To be part of the Guinness World Record attempt, join them and thousands of Xbox LIVE members at 8 pm local time on Saturday 23 April.
The Guinness World Record is just one of the events that will take place over a free weekend of entertainment on Xbox LIVE, where each and every LIVE member will be given Gold LIVE access including multiplayer gaming and access to the latest content and more.
Dubbed Xbox Nations, the free LIVE weekend will run from Thursday 21 April to Monday 25 April.
Xbox South Africa has also recently announced that South African Xbox 360 gamers can now get a massive 50% off on a 12-month Xbox LIVE Gold subscription by simply purchasing an Xbox 360 game or console.
The Xbox LIVE Gold membership special is available at Incredible Connection, Musica, Look & Listen, CNA, Hi-Fi Corporation, Dion Wired, BT Games and Makro stores nationwide and will be running for a limited time, so don't let this chance go by.
