The UVM comes in five separate parts and assembly is a singe. It took us just under a minute to put it together and secure it to a vent. The ball and socket joint allow for multi-axis adjustment, can rotate in full circles and tilt 45 degrees. All you need to do is stick your phone on it and tilt it to the desired direction - no mess, no fuss. 

 

 

 

When Clingo promises something sticks securely, they mean it. The sticky green pads the Clingo range of products utilises does the job extremely well and our phones stuck no matter what. 

 

This sticky substance uses no adhesives so there is no residue left behind when the mobile device is removed. However, removing the mobile device can be a problem and we struggled to get our cellphones of the pad after prolonged attachment, often pulling the base from the mount. 

 

The pads can get a bit dirty after awhile, slightly diminishing the stickiness, but you can simply wash it and dry and once again it is as sticky as the first day. When testing the product Clingo washed the gel pad 3 300+ times and it never lost its adhesive quality.

 

 

 

The Clingo UVM really is a great little gadget. Not only does it look good but it is extremely useful and it will pay for itself. At R188 it is a bit more then regular vent mountings go for, but when looking at the amount of devices you can mount on it, it is worth it, as most other vent mountings are made for a specific phone.
