Kindle covers are one accessory that not only offer welcome protection for the delicate screen of one’s Kindle Touch, they also make excellent gifts, whether for oneself or a loved one.
Belkin’s Verve Tab Folio cover for the Kindle Touch is one such example of a stylish case for the popular ereader, which fulfils both purposes. Our review model was a light, slightly off red colour, which looks modern but not at all garish.
To its credit, the Folio gives the distinct impression of being made from quality materials, and offers a cool, pleasant tactile sensation in one’s hand; essential when considering that prolific readers may well be used to reading for long periods at a stretch. This also answers the one criticism that has been levelled by book purists against ereaders, namely that ereading devices lack the tactile sensation afforded by a print book.
Additionally, the Kindle Touch fits snugly into the Folio, as it is secured at each of the four corners by small, slightly elasticised straps. A magnetized clasp then ensures the Folio snaps closed – and remains closed – when not in use.
The Folio also has a slender inner flap, for storing a few business cards or a couple of notes, to pay for one’s coffee when reading, we would imagine.
To the point

Belkin’s Verve Tab Folio is an attractive cover for the Kindle ereader, which does exactly as it claims, namely, stylishly protects one previous ereader from harm and allows one to instead concentrate on the ebook at hand. It has an RRP of R240.
