Wizcom SuperPen Scanner Professional
By Andrew Gould 7 August 2008 | Categories: gizmosThere are some gadgets that you really want, but are completely and utterly useless; this is not one of them.
It might have a bit of a naff name, but it has some serious features built into a very small device. For starters the SuperPen instantly provides you with the definitions to over a quarter of a million words. All you do is scan over the word or phrase and the LCD display on the pen tells you what’s what on the definition front. Once you have read the word the pen can even say it for you, using integrated text-to-speech software, just beware the American accent. If this seems a bit know that the SuperPen also lets you store and transfer printed data to PDA, PC or any Windows application, making taking notes from textbooks or very long legal briefs a breeze.
