Prototype is third-person open-world/action game that sees mutant shape-shifter, Alex Mercer consume his way through a virus infected New York. With no memory and some seriously disturbing powers, Alex wants answers and will do anything to get them.
PROS
A challenge without becoming frustrating. Open world play is exciting and filled with activities.
CONS
The variety of moves available make the controls awkward.
VERDICT
Prototype is an excellent action-thriller with an intriguing storyline and great gameplay.
