This poor chicken was part of a (now ­forgotten) ad ­campaign, but subservientchicken.com is still attracting a lot of attention – and rightly so.

There is not much to it. You see what appears to be a video feed of said chicken, and you get to tell it what to do by simply typing instructions into the box. Our chicken can run, laugh, eat, sing, fly (or at least attempt to), turn off the lights, kick the couch or even riverdance!
