No distinguishable improvement over Z2; new rounded edges makes it less tactile

As an all round performer, there is very little fault to find in the Xperia Z3. That being said, the Z2 was equally solid, leaving a lingering question of whether or not upgrading is truly worthwhile. For users still touting the Z2 (review), there is really no need to shell out the R8 500 that the Z3 commands. If however, you're looking to make the move to Android or are unhappy with your current offering, then the Xperia Z3 is highly recommended.
