Adobe plans to fully remove Flash support by end of 2020

One of the most significant sees the company officially confirm that it plans to end support of Flash by the end of 2020. It's certainly a move that the Adobe must make, especially with the likes of browsers like Chrome, Safari and Microsoft Edge blocking the plugin.
Now, the company has stated on its blog that it will stop updating and distributing the Flash Player plugin within the next three years. Furthermore, an Adobe spokesperson added that the company would encourage users to migrate from Flash to one of the new open platforms that are currently available.
With a number of sites still supporting the plugin, Adobe says it aims to help these organisations make the switch with the aid of companies like Apple, Google and Microsoft. With HTML5 now the go-to standard when it comes to online platforms, Flash's time has certainly come to an end.
