SPOILERS AHEAD!

On April Fool's Day earlier this year, Adult Swim aired the first episode for the third season of Rick and Morty. The episode was superb, but ultimately served as a cruel joke, with the producers postponing the rest of the season's rollout. As we've been anxiously pondering what the hold up has been, Adult Swim recently released a new trailer for season three, detailing that the episodes will begin airing on 30 July.

In usual Rick and Morty fashion, the trailer is insane, violent and utterly engrossing. The plot of third season is not fully known, but from what we surmise, Rick will likely have to deal with the consequences of breaking out of the Galactic Federation prison and killing a bunch of his alternative reality selfs.
