Apple may refresh its iPad and iPhone lineup in March
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 21 February 2017 | Categories: newsApple is rumored to host an event in March, and while the precise date for this gathering is unknown, reports are already swirling about what the Cupertino-based company will have on show. To that end, Japanese website Macotakara believes a refreshed lineup of iPad Pros and iPhone 7/7 Plus devices are on the way.
On the tablet side of things, Macotakara's sources say four differently sized iPad Pro models will be showcased, including a 7.9" and 10.5" variant, to accompany the current 9.7" and 12.9" flavours. As such, having a 7.9" iPad Pro could potentially spell the end of the line for Apple's similarly sized iPad mini 4.
As far as iPhones go, a 128 GB iPhone SE is rumoured for unveiling, along with red coloured versions of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. The latter would form part of the Product (RED) initiative, which Apple has been a part of in the past, having released red iPod Nano's in years gone by.
With Apple yet to confirm a March-dated event, this is still a developing story.
