Yesterday, we wrote about reports of a new lineup of Macbooks that Apple is currently working on. The notebook refresh, along with new iMacs and MacBook Air's are set to be unveiled at an event on 27 October, according to the rumour mill. Now, Apple has sent out official invites for said event, with the title "hello again," fueling beliefs that the focus will be purely Mac next week.

Apple fundis will remember that when the first Mac was unveiled in 1984, it had the word "hello" on its screen. It's therefore not too far of a leap to think, next week's event will also deal with Mac, and specifically the MacBook, which has not undergone a significant refresh since 2012.

The event will be live streamed from the Apple campus in Cupertino, with things set to kick off at 19:00 (SAST) on 27 October. We'll be live tweeting the event from @TechSmartMag, so keep following.
