If you were one of the handful of people that watched 2014's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, kudos to you for sitting through an hour and a half's worth of ridiculous film. The movie was divisive as it comes and on a personal level ruined one of the best TV series from our collective childhoods. Nevertheless, the top brass at Nickelodeon are taking another crack at it, as the first trailer for the sequel, titled Out of the Shadows, just surfaced online.

The usual suspects are back, as our four 8 ft tall mutated heroes come to New York City's aid once again. This time the threat is not Shredder, although he does appear in the trailer below, but rather The Kraang. For those unfamiliar, they are a race of aliens hellbent on taking over Earth, and their leader is Kraang Prime (no confirmation on his arrival just yet). 

Joining the Kraang are a couple more characters from the TMNT universe as Casey Jones, played by Stephen Amell (Arrow), joins forces with our heroes in a half shell. For the bad guys, Bebop and Rocksteady are making an appearance, which cranks up the lunacy level for this film yet another notch.
