When it comes to action-packed titles, the Nintendo Switch is lagging pretty far behind the likes of the PS4 and Xbox One, with only Breath of the Wild, Splatoons 2 and Mario Odyssey being the only real contenders. That's set to change, however, as Bethesda recently confirmed that two of its more bloody first-person shooters will be landing on the Switch soon.

Those titles are Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and DOOM. The latter will be available first up, set to arrive during the holiday season, with Wolfenstein II only arriving next year, according to the publisher. The New Colossus will be making its cross-platform debut late next month, which means Switch gamers will have to wait longer than most.

In the interim though, Bethesda will be porting a version Skyrim and Rockstar is doing the same with L.A Noire for the Nintendo Switch on 14 November and 17 November respectively. As such, the Switch's roster is filling up nicely, and hopefully next year will bring even more action-heavy games to the hybrid console platform.
