Bioware asks to join the Andromeda Initiative in new Mass Effect trailer
By Staff Writer 2 November 2016 | Categories: newsFans of Mass Effect will be happy to know that Bioware has released a new trailer for Andromeda, the next game in the series. Having said that, calling it a trailer might be a bit of a stretch, rather it appears to be more of a recruitment video. While not much is revealed and the game is still a long way off (Autumn 2017 in SA), the new footage builds up anticipation for more info set to be released come 7 November (N7 day).
In the ‘trailer’, you’re urged to join the “Andromeda Initiative today”. If you do so here, gamers are promised to be the first contacted regarding “critical mission information, special training opportunities, and will also be eligible for reward upon program completion”.
Whether being the first to be contacted in the age of the internet is worth anything remains to be seen, but the rewards they are talking about seems intriguing. Andromeda is set to take us out of the boundries of the Milky Way, catapulting players into an open world environment in a ship called The Tempest.
